Kurzweil SP6 Overview

The 88-key, fully weighted , hammer-action keyboard is powered by Flash-Play. It boots the instrument in 11 seconds with 2GB of onboard sample content. With 32 FX, you can select reverbs, delays, choruses, flangers, phasers, compressors, and more effects to tweak your sound. The stage piano features 256 factory programs, 1024 user programs, and 130 factory multi programs that have 128-voice polyphony.

In addition, the SP6-8’s KB3 ToneReal Organs module is designed after the classic Hammond, Vox, and Farfisa organs. Other features include a 128 x 64-pixel monochrome LCD display, and Kurzweil String Resonance (KSR), which provides piano-string resonance modeling for an enhanced acoustic piano performance. Furthermore, arpeggiators, pitch modulation, quick sound selection, and easy access controls make the SP6-8 88-Key Stage Piano suitable for any style of music.

The Japanese and German D grand pianos have been optimized for the SP6-8 and feature Kurzweil String Resonance (KSR).
