The SP2 15″ 2-Way Passive Loudspeaker from Peavey is a professional-quality loudspeaker, ideal for PA and sound reinforcement applications. The speaker has a 15″ BWX Black Widow Kevlar-impregnated woofer with a 4″ voice coil, as well as an RX22 titanium compression tweeter with ferrofluid cooling and Sound Guard III tweeter protection. These drivers work together to deliver clear, natural audio with a wide frequency response. The speaker uses patented Asymmetrical Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology to direct sound to your audience, not over their heads.

The speaker also features a patented Radialinear Planar Phase Correction System to ensure proper phase alignment for the best sonic results. The rear panel offers a pair of 1/4″ phone jacks and a 4-pin Speakon jack for full-range audio input. There is also a 4-pin Speakon bi-amp input for connecting an external amplifier. The speaker has a 1000W program (2000W peak) power handling capability to deliver a strong performance with low distortion.

The cabinet has a trapezoidal design to allow versatile placement. It has a durable Hammertex covering to withstand the rigors of life on the road. The metal grille protects the drivers, while integrated handles provide convenient transportation. A standard 35mm pole socket allows mounting on a stand or on top of a subwoofer.
