New Concept Maple Exotics deliver on both of these promises in a big way. Offered in a 4-piece F.A.S.T. configuration with available 8" and 14" add-ons, the all-maple shells are finished in a rich Walnut veneer with glossy Charcoal Burst lacquer. Sizes include an 18x22" virgin bass drum, 8x10" and 9x12" rack toms, and 14x16" floor tom. Mounting hardware for the rack toms is also included in the shell pack. Add to that high-end features like STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), True Pitch tension rods, MAG throw-off, die cast low-mass claw hooks, proportionate counter hoops, and durable lacquer finishes, and you have a kit that unquestionably honors its DW roots.
